Location La Passata Ornithologic Station is set near Miragolo S. Marco di Zogno (BG), at 980 m a.s.l., coordinates 95°47'N - 9°43'E. It can be aesily reached  by car, using two different ways, described in the follow. Route A is better in Summer (April-October), route B in Winter (November-March). Route A: Motor-way A4, Bergamo exit, then SS N°671 for Valle Seriana. In Nembro follow boards to Selvino: once in Selvino keep leftside and follow boards to "Santuario del Perello" (brown board) on the left, go on for 3-4 Km, then at the forking to Salmezza keep right as far as the restaurant "La Passata". Route B: Motor-way A4, Dalmine exit, then SS N°470 for Val Brembana - Zogno, after Zogno turn right to Bracca, then another time turn right, following boards to Selvino. After Ambriola turn right, following boards to "Santuario del Perello" (yellow board) as far as the restaurant "La Passata".

Periods of activity La Passata Ornithologic Station is usually open from the 15th of March to the beginning of April in spring, during the passage of the fringillidae, and from August to October-November, according to availability and migration. During winter we can occasionally capture, according to the presence of wintering birds (peppole, lucarini, cesene). Logistic accomodation In our Station we can shelter a maximum of 4 people. We have place for a camping tent. Otherwise we have a hotel nearby. Food is provided by the near and conventioned restaurant "La Passata", as half or full board.
